Just came back from donating blood, only for the second time in my life. I have no clue why I haven’t started doing it way sooner, it’s such an obvious, simple and small way of helping out - without sacrificing anything whatsoever, except I guess a small amount of time. I believe I never started because I was never encouraged too. Bad excuse, but this is why I am writing this post now - maybe it will help somebody else to get over the hump?

Donating blood here in Sweden is ridiculously easy, at least in Stockholm where I live. They have a combination of permanent fixed locations you can go to anytime, but also buses that park around various places around town on a schedule.

But the coolest part that I wanted to talk about, is that they have basically gamified the process!
