Invoice for the birth of our child just received.
We spent 3 nights at the hospital, and beyond the birth itself we had 24/7 access to midwives etc helping out with breast feeding and everything else for two extra nights, staying in our own private room with bathroom and shower, and food FREE for all meals (and heavily discounted for me) and any accessories provided as well (diapers etc).
During the birth we had 2 doctors and 4 midwives actively engaged.
Statistically, Sweden is one of the absolute safest places to give birth as well.
Total cost: about 30 euro.
Yes, I’m a fan of “socialist” healthcare.
